read/unread status

I don't know if I'm the only one experiencing this, but often when I return to the forum after reading a post, threads that I *have* already read are showing up as unread. Of particular interest is that my own posts are showing up as unread items.
Any ideas on why this is happening?

I don't know why it is happening, but my heart bleeds for you.

Try turning your drive upside down for five minutes to reset it.

(erm. got cookies set? got prefs/options all tidy? erm. do you really care?)

Thank you for the sympathy. I checked all the cookies and all that fun stuff, but it's still happening. Hrmph. Oh well.

Make sure in options that you have the "browse board with cookies" option checked yes. If that doesn't work, kick it.

(That's the asylum's options, not internet options)
