Would Americans really vote to have black people taken away by aliens - Do black Americans think white Americans would vote to exchange them for an infinite power source?
I just watched the worst channel 5 (UK TV) american film which sujested so.

I can't believe nobody has heard of that concept before.

Yeah, it was from a movie that nobody has ever seen but gets discussed on BB's every once in awhile.

Basically, aliens come to earth and offer to give us (instert whatever here: infinite wisdom, ultimate power, immortality) in exchange for all of our black people.

And in every scenario, we vote yes.

After all, who needs black people?

Well Ill try my best to remember the plot?

I checked the name it was Cosmic Slop

Some Alien race wanted everyone with more than 25mg or maybe micrograms of tannin per square inch and in return they would give the american goverment an infinite power source. It was never mentioned where the aliens would take the people just some where across space.
Any way only america was offered this deal ( supossedly france wanted in too?) and a referendum by phone was called where _every_ american could vote - to take place in 2 days or something, Blacks wherent alowed to leave the country or buy guns?? - Some rich black guy did a massive advertising campain but on the day of the referendum which was cast over 3 hours the result was 63 to 37 in favour of giveing up the black people - Then all the black people where taken by the military to beaches where they were beamed up by UFOs. Some one tryed to escape and was shot.

I don't understand why anyone would make such a film?

One could assume that if they made the film in the UK that the aliens would have gone there first. This was a low budget idiotic movie. They couldn't afford to have the aliens go anywhere else first.
The US made a big budget alien invasion movie called Independance Day. The aliens went everywhere first.
