Free cd burning software?

I need some software suitable for Windows XP, that is free, for burning ISO images. The Nero demo I installed says my demo period has expired, which is total bullocks because I just grabbed the god damn thing.

Help?

What kind of motherboard do you have? If you have one of the newer Intel boards going back to about D845hv, the firmware CD that came with it has NTI CD-Maker on it.

It wouldn't be "throwing it away" if it satisfied a need you had. If you don't "need" to expend money and/or other resources, then perhaps, you don't really "need" it.

I gave in and just blew $50 for a Nero serial.

The point being, Wraithy-poo, is that I shouldn't have to blow $50 to use a piece of hardware that I already paid to use. Windows XP comes with an absolute shit burning program (which doesn't burn ISO images, but instead just burns copies of things) and I don't think it's necessary to pay $50 in order to use my hardware because Microshaft is full of morons.

What's wrong with a guy wanting to use what he paid for?

I'd also like to mention that for $50.00 you could have gotten a lite on (the best brand, all the other good ones are simply rebadged) from newegg.com that would have come with the software.
