it sounds to me like you're after just about the same thing everyone is after. it's what ever you consider to be a symbiotic relationship with another human so that you can feel connected, even if only for a few minutes. you want to have someone in proximity to yourself that doesn't mind your quirky habits and tolerates your turn offs. you want a connection with someone that doesn't care the size of your ass (be it to big or to small) and says things like "wow, you look great" when you walk into the room. all I can say is good luck, and unless you intend to be very friendly with yourself, be prepared to make a few compromises along the way.

Well this is just a depressing thread. With all of you guys out there, not one of you can fall in love with this girl? I'm very disapointed in you.

PityKitty, you sound perfectly charming. Don't listen to them. Especially MadBomber. You don't have to compromise for anyone. The biggest problem in relationships today is that we make compromises in our standards that end up making us miserable. It doesn't have to be that way.

So most guys won't understand you. Keep looking, or start looking somewhere else.

I think it's great that you know what you want. Most people (including me) don't.

'Scuse me... while the requirements above are actual preferences, I was not REALLY trying to find "love on the internet". Furthermore, I am constantly making sacrifices and compromises along with bad decisions as to who I am making them for.
I thought that everyone would know I wasn't serious as soon as they read the "understand me" one and the last one about living 5 minutes away from me. I realize that there are several countries represented here, and that makes for impossible odds. I'm not dense, and I'm not goth.
The going away to live in LA and make movies part was steam from the serious "us" conversation Ben and I had just had before signing on. He's leaving in anywhere from 2 months to 2 years. Makes things just a bit uncomfortable.
