XP Administrator Bullshit

I posted this question recently at the Computing.net forums and got the typical stupid answers I have learned to expect there to it. Any of you guys have any idea about this?

"I recently used Microsoft Baseline Security Analyser to check my system for security leaks. It showed that I have four Administrator accounts on my computer. I know that there are two as I set them up for me and someone else. Also, I have read somewhere that there is a default Administrator account as well. What I do not understand is why there is one named with a quite long string of numbers like so: X-X-X-XX-XXXXXXXXXX-XXXXXXXXXX-XXXXXXXXXX-XXXX. Is this a possible threat? If this is not supposed to be there, what can I do to remove it as it does not show up in the control panel as a user or administrator?"

I might add that one other person said they had the same thing as well and one guy theorized it might be built in Microsoft support bullshit. What the hell is up with that account?

It may be the account used by CALcheck, this will connect you to MicroShaft Liscence Servers in order to check the status of you liscence and/or to Microshaft themselves to check if you have a legit liscence key.

It might also be the admin account used for the remote hands thing XP has.

Well, I reckon that like the enigma of how many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Roll Pop, the world will never know. Macker took a guess...that means we are all doomed.

Doomed I say....Dooomed!!!!

If you can see the account in the user manager, disable it and see what stops working.

If the computer is/was a member of a domain, but cannot reach it now, I would assume that the number it is the security identifier for the domain admins group.

Yea, I had a similiar problem. I had a virus, and the way I found it was I found extraneous files that were created by an admin account I had not created. I looked it up at norton, and it was win95.***** something something, and I had to download a special tool to get rid of it.
