I dunno. I don't know art. I just know what I like and what says something to me.

That said, yah I can agree that there is nothing wrong with menstruation and I will allow that it can be a beautiful thing--I guess, from a certain point of view--but how does that "beauty" come from its product's (being clotty blood and bits of corpus) usage as paint?

Seems as if this has more to do with art with an agenda than anything else.

I'll give these artists credit for their work, but I really don't see the point - is there really a commercial demand for this sort of thing, or is it solely for the benefit of the artist? I would imagine that, though the digital images have artistic value, phorbie has a good point: "I bet its stinky...p u."

Tampon sponge painting... this year's hot event at the arts and crafts section of Lilith Fair.

Edit: Is it just me, or do the titles of the paintings sound like they should be titles of bad poetry?
