Yay Scotland!!! (rugby thread)

Watching the South Africans getting eaten by Scotland was almost as satisfying as watching the Australians getting thrashing by the Irish.

Now if only the All Blacks B team can teach the French a lesson.

That wasn't a typo Goatboy, "eaten" in the sports world is similar to "beaten", only more so.

The term could be used while describing a result like Arsenal 3 Spurs 0, for example.

England just beat Australia by a point.
This is good for rugby generally. I was getting sick of us thrashing England.

This is the third consecutive victory against Australia at home for us, I think? Or fourth? They haven't been travelling that well as far as tours go, at least (although they are a different proposition at home).

Beating the All-Blacks last week was a rare event, though.
