Flood control with php

I'm hand coding this php/ mysql guestbook as a christmas present for someone.

A problem that I've come across is a page that has no other function than to accept the variables from a form and throw them into the database.

Like the one you see when posting replies here, before being taken to your post.

Thing is that if I push refresh on that page the same variables get inputted, double posts if you like.

Can anyone point me in the direction of what tags are used to stop "flooding" as used in this forum?

Or if anyone knows of a better way, I'm all ears.

Got it sorted, a redirect from the data input page to a "thankyou for your input" type page, and the refresh button is rendered useless.

if you dont want the thank you page you can just redirect back to the guestbook.

Yeah, the header location thingy is way cool, keeps the code away from the browser buttons.

I can also redirect people to disneyland.com without them suspecting a thing.
