well, I feel a little nervous living three hundred miles from them, "up the road" would probably make me even more nervous. But then, living that close to Mt. Hood and it's potential mahar flows of death would make me even more nervous then that. Damn. I would be REALLY nervous, then.

you get used to it after a while. If one accidentally went off (very unlikely), you realize that it would all be over in a millisecond or so. And Mt. Hood doesn't bother me at all. After St. Helens, volcanos don't worry me. When it comes to mountains, I'd be more worried about Mt Rainier blowing its top, or Mt. Olympus. Both are "dormant" volcanoes. And if I remember correctly, Mt. Rainier last erupted about 160 years ago. Most all the mountains around here belong to the Pacific "Rim of Fire".

Ah, so as I suspected, here I am, although considerably more lubricated (not in *quite* the sense of the word I was hoping for), still here, posting, which of course means not otherwise, uh, 'occupied'. Damn it all. Being (not so anymore) involved for 4 years really can destroy one's ability to hook up with the womenfolk. Did flirt a little, just not brave enough anymore to follow thru. Eh, one of these days.

I'm entirely too old to be this angst-ridden. I mean, jeeZix, I've been listening to the Smiths again, for chrissakes! Bleh. Ah, well, tomorrow's another nite. Goth nite, at that. If I can't, well, never mind. Perhaps a cute little angst-puppy will come my way (another loaded phrase ).
