Angry XP permissions???

I can't seem to run most programs from on this computer. When i run them it says "windows cannot access the specifed device, path, or file. You may not have the apporperate permmisons to access them" .

I can access IE and a few things on the control panel. How do i go about changing the premissions for all the files to be allowed?

does this question make sense?

Is this as Administrator or as a normal user? Unless your a Admin User you won't be able to fix the permissions.

I fixed it...I had a Trojan that was cuzing the problem. But after removing the bot I tried to repair windows and now its even more fucked. I suck, my bad, I guess. Won't repair "Windows:System" won't find path to "rundll32.exe" so i figure the bitch is pooched now.
Full reinstall?

My first inclination is to say it's pooched. Shame on you for getting a trojan!

But maybe you can fix it. Maybe.

Try and find rundll32.exe in your filesystem, and if it IS there, see where it's pointing to in your registry for rundll32. Odds are that the trojan was pointing to a fake rundll32.
