I just got a new one:







MASTERS OF DEFENSE MASSAD AYOOB RAZORBACK
In the short time since the company's inception, M.O.D has redefined the standard for a production tactical knife. By any measure, you cannot find a better engineered production hard use knife. Designed by noted firearms author and expert Massad Ayoob, the Razorback personal carry knife was designed with the input of forensic pathologists and medical examiners Ayoob works with as an expert witness and trained homicide investigator.

His intent was to create a combat defense tool that would be

(a) legal for self defense carry under most jurisdictions,
(b) concealable under most dress codes
(c) fulfill the utility needs of a carry knife and most critically, be capable of delivering the greatest "assault stopping effect" within size constraints against a large, heavily clad assailant or vicious animal.

Massad Ayoob is considered one the industry's foremost experts on the use of deadly force in self-defense situations, and serves as an expert witness and trial consultant. A fully sworn part-time police officer for over 23 years, he has risen to the rank of captain. He is the law enforcement editor for American Handgunner, handgun editor for Guns magazine and director of the Lethal Force Institute. Prior to production, Ayoob's design was tested extensively for its cutting, penetration and incapacitation capabilities.

The Razorback's 154-CM high carbon stainless steel alloy is hardened 60 RC, then Cryogenically hardened for complete molecular conversion and absolute dimensional stability. It is available in Plain or Combo Edge, with the following finishes - Matte double bead blast, or Stealth matte black Titanium Carbo Nitride.
