A word for the day from Oxsan

I have taken it upon myself to improve your minds. I know, I know but I was always one for lost causes. I shall in the future from time to time as my busy schedule permits send to you words which though well seated in my vocabulary may have escaped your notice to date. I shall tell uou where I ran across the word and what it means. It is your duty to use the word three times in the next month so that it becomes seated in your mind and a part of your mental apparatus.

catena

" A century ago C.M. Inglesby LL.D. took it upon himself...to execute a complete catena of extracts related to one man. "
From "The Mysterious William Shakespeare" by Charlton Ogburn

catena- (from Latin catenatus meaning chain) a linked or connected series , as of exerpted writings.

Three times in the next month.

Love
dad, granpa, ami
