If it happens, It happens... I am not going to lug a Hazmat suit around with me everywhere I go.
I will not give in to fear or paranoia, and Im not in a high-risk area anyway.

I think that the British Army's official advice to soldiers on nuclear bombs in the 1950s was 'the best defense against a nuclear bomb is not to be there when it explodes'.

I also seem to remember there advice to those witnessing the atmospheric tests in the 50s in the South Pacific was "wear sunglasses and turn your back on the explosion".

Not many eyewitnesses around to confirm that. They've all died from cancer.

of course not .. it's not like we have a major airforce bace here with a huge military ship building company about ten miles from it. and it's not as if it would be an easy target due to the fact that any idiot can cross from canada to the US in an icecream truck laden with chemical explosives so long as they have a drivers license with a picture on it that even sort of matches (I seem to remeber hearing something about a bunch of terrorists coming through maine once .. perhaps it was one of those funny sitcoms and not a news broadcast). at least they took down the nuke plant up the street. because of that I bet went from prime location number 3 or 4 back down to 7 or 8 .. unless of course you take into account the fact that george bush sr. lives here too. but I'm sure these people don't hold grudges or anything, right?
