I have just got off the phone with my #2 daughter. She is, for your info, a registered sex offender therapist. She is currently in negotiatiations with an organization in England which I will not identify to work at a location I will not divulge. This organization
says that England has a crucial shortage of professional sex offender specialists and they are loaded down with a passle of sex offenders. They are offering her a very tantalizing offer and
her husband works for a British company in the US which I will not divulge and can transfer over there. So they are seriously considering this and she called me to ask if I knew anything about
real estate prices over there or about taxes. I told her it had been too long.

Now over here my daughter is licensed to carry and packs two guns at all times---a Glock automatic in a holster and a .32 cal revolver which she says I can't see where she carried it. She qualified on both weapons at the Texas Ranger shooting range
and broke record for the Glock qualification.
This daughter is particularly defensive about her Daddy and it would not be wise for any of you Limeys to get Smart-ass with old Oxsan any more.

From what I hear Funky it is best you emigrate to Aden if they will have you. Sorry 'bout that.

Funky there are no women in Aden.

Her specialty incidentally within the realm of sex offense is Cognitive Sexual Restructuring. You can parse that to "brain washing"

Real Estate is very expensive; in the south east more than anywhere else. A two bedroom flat in the London equivalent of a ghetto might cost in the region of US$225k; given the weakness of the dollar, perhaps more. If it is out of the South East, things are pretty much cheaper, although would still seem expensive by US standards and small to boot. Fortunately our charming manner and easy wit make these a small price to pay for being near us.

I am taking some liberties here to rub Mr Funky , Phil. Of course England has its fair share of sex therapists. This particular opportunity for my daughter is very unique in that it was spurred by a specific agency in UK concerning a specific group cognitive retraining training of hardcore sex offenders that were the basis of her masters thesis. The opportunity came to her through her
supervising professor at the university and would be sort of a fellowship. My daughter in her job was a badged and sworn officer of the law so was required under Texas Law to bear arms.
She is no longer a criminal justice officer and even though still licensed she does not carry arms since she does not visit violent felons in their homes anymore.

I doubt if anything will come of this offer. University professors over here in her line are airheads quite frequently and divorced from reality. She understands this too. Her husband has a very good job with a British company over here and his transfer would be complex if even possible. So this will porobably come to naught.

Her prof did make the statement above but both she and I don't take it very seriously.

So you can tell Funky for me if you will that Sana is short oh houris
also these days and that my daughter probably won't be coming to UK.

Phil was implying, I think, that we certainly have enough people who specialise in sex offending, that is to say, in commiting sex offences. Czech and goatboy, for example, and what uj and Phil do together is certainly an offence before God.

Yeah smug is right oxsan. I was just gigling to myself at the double enetdree in the sentence 'England has a crucial shortage of professional sex offender specialists'. Mind you if it's true we really should stop putting so many of them in prison and save the profession!

You're right it was a clumsy awkward sentence. I am spoiled by the literacy and savoir faire of my reading public and not forced to carefully consider my words because I know that they always understand.
