A while back there was a thread on the resignation of career US diplomat J Brady Kielsing who posted his resignation online.

A lot of comment (if I remember right) was that it was shameful how the media had ignored this. Well I just saw him on BBC Newsnight, alongside former UK ambassador to UN. (Who I felt whupped Kieslings posterior but there we go.)

chalk one for auntie. However a shameful suspicion creeps into view that if message boards like this one had not kicked up such a fuss, he would never have appeared, but hell a media outlet is a media outlet is a media outlet.

There has been another resignation from the state deparment, I think, although not one with such a well written letter of resignation. I was going to link it here, then I forgot.
