The American mother's day ('International Mother's Day' as I have seen it called) is more recent (100 years old or so, I think) and is in May, but the British one comes from some Church festival dating from the 1600s and is the fourth Sunday in Lent. So, tomorrow is mother's day here, but not in most other places.

Perhaps Lightbulb could tell his mother that his father had just told him that she isn't actually Lightbulb's mother, so he didn't bother sending a card.

Yes, he might be causing more trouble in the long term, but he'll get out from under the immediate problem.

I will say 'Happy Mothers Day' to my dad cos he's had to be 2 parents in 1 seeing as I don't have a mum... but I am thinking a lot about her

I'll tell my Dad's gf happy m day too cos she's been a top woman over the years.

But I'll spare the cards... not really a card person me.
