I'm going with *grumble* ottawa snagging it this year....they've been pretty scary all season.

i'm not going to jynx my boys by saying they have the chance. But maybe jersey has a shot if they don't completely CHOKE

i couldn't say. ottawa is pretty clearly dominant in the east, but the west could go any of 4 ways pretty easily, the canucks being least likely of those top 4 to go all the way due to lack of experience (or giant payroll or great goaltending). the west is strong.

Ottawa has a great tradition of being on top of the league (Because they play weak ass Eastern conference teams) and then choking by losing the frist round playoffs. Ottawa = Weak, last weak.
A western Conference team will win this year.

Hejduk has 49 goals this season, Forsberg has played an entire season this year and is all the better for it, Blake is playing well and Roy is just well, Roy. the 1st line of Hejduk, Tanguay, and Forsberg is possibly the most formidable in hockey. although i do kinda agree with shyloh. ottawa senators are the most dangerous team for me.

The Sens get consistently outcoached and out-gritted in the playoffs. Chara alone should win them every defensive battle, but somehow it doesn't work that way. I'll believe the Senators as a threat when I see them actually deliver when it matters.

My boys are already getting shakey. This happens almost every season...they do great until a a week before the playoffs begin, and they start getting inconsistent. They let in too many goals, even though they outshoot the other team.
