This friend of mine rang up from France just now, wanted me to fill in a online form for her, did so, I asked if her man was heading this way, I have a car that needs some welding....

"I'll call him, he's outside"

What followed was the most unentertaining 59 minutes and 51 seconds of telephone conversation I've ever had.

"So how's so and so doing?"

"Don't know"

He was rambling on about welfare and health systems and the pro's and cons of living in different countries.

I caught myself reading threads, missing what he was saying, wondered if he was on valium or something. Still he lives in the country, must be pretty bored.

59 minutes into the conversation he goes.....

"Fuck, I thought you were paying for this, um, gotta go"
