I saw Ministry tonight. It kicked ass. The mosh pit was a little rough, but I was just chilling in the middle, doing my own little Shannon Hoon dance. There was one hot ghetto momma who kept smiling at me. All these crazy fucks were flying around me, throwing elbows and shit. There were a bunch of people slipping each other the tongue and cuddling with the bouncer, but there were also a couple crazy chicks there with green hair and bad attitudes, so it was cool. Two little girls got dehydrated and had to be carried away, but one guy stood his ground, not taking any shit when people shoved him unnecessarily and shit...what a bunch of wieners. Lollipop Lust Kill was one of the opening acts. Their lead singer looked like he had an extra chromosome and a half. I wouldn't recommend checking them out or anything.

Some Turkish guy from NYC hit on me, but I told him to go back to San Franscisco, with the rest of the hippies.

i remember when i was 17 and thought it was cool to mosh. oooh yeah, let's beat the fuck outta each other, it's great! now i prefer to stand to the side and bask in the presence of the musicians i paid to see.

best mosh pit i was ever in was nirvana on halloween night. almost everyone wore costumes. ever seen barney try to mosh? funny as hell until someone bodysurfing from back to front kicked me in the head. i still have a scar.

most dangerous mosh pit was rage against the machine right after their first album broke. people were bleeding profusely, bones were broken, i saw four or five guys being carried out overhead holding their legs, arms, etc. i was only in it for about ten minutes before my instinct to survive kicked in and i crawled my way out of it. my friend matt was in it for almost the entire show and got his ass kicked, and he was 6'3", 250 lbs hockey player. it was a beautiful show though.

lamest mosh pit ever was green day. people just pogo-ed up and down repeatedly, stepping on each others' toes until actual fights broke out. really stupid.

and then there was the one local show where an entire busload of neo-nazi's showed up and started a brawl in the mosh pit. i left quite shortly after, and watched from across the street as the cops showed up and hauled their asses out one by one.

I just looked at some Lollipop lust kill pictures and he doesnt look like Rizz, I have bad eyes and when I got near the pit I had to take off my glasses...he moved like Rizz does though so I guess that was it. pictures: http://www.militiapromotions.com/llk.html
