carne asada, arroz, frijoles negros, camarrones, varias mariscos, tortillas de maiz, tortillas de harina, posole, flan y pastel de tres leches
Oh, and don't forget, gringo: TEQUILA!

I've never cooked my mom dinner...
But a good mother's day should start with wine, lots of red wine.
A good mother's day food is Chicken...mmmmm yes Chicken.
Take your chicken and spice it up with...ummm.....some Tummeric and paprika, then baked it. You'll also need some Mashed pot. Whip up some mash with Sage and Cilantro...use some oinion powder garlic salt and pepper to taste. For your veg go with Asparagas, Stemed lightly butters with maybe some califlour.
Top it of with a nice Hollandise over the chicken and aspargas when served.....man I'm good....I need to make that right NOW!

Lobster tails. That's a good idea. I have to cook for my folks, too.
I was thinking about a bowl of Special K with skim milk, to try to drop the hint that my mother's a fat bitch, but I guess that's my stepfather's problem, not mine.
