Do you guys consider John Turturro to be a good actor?

I was just thinking about this the other day. I rarely see him mentioned when favorite actors are being talked about, so i was wondering do you people rate him as an actor, and if not, why?

Because he doesn't own "the face".

Yes, he's an excellent actor.

I had to look him up, I didn't know the name. As soon as I saw a picture though, I knew him. He's certainly been in enough movies. I think he's a very good actor, but I don't think he's well enough known to be considered a favorite by most people.

Bit of an arty ponce, but lets face it, Jesus in the Big Lebowski is one of the best characters ever.

I never heard of him so I had to look him up here. I recognize his picture, but out of the 59 movies listed, I've only seen two, and don't remember him being in either. So I guess I don't find him that remarkable.

Summer of Sam and Desperately Seeking Susan are pretty understandable though.

That was John Leguizamo, if it's who you're thinking of.
