That's funny. Legally you can sign your name however you want, so long as it's consistent. Chinese girl at work signs all her paperwork with Chinese characters, and some Russian parents sign in Russian.
On my way to work I saw a business card on the sidewalk outside a grocery store: it was the guy's name and his title was "private butcher." All morning I've had a song stuck in my head: "I'm your private butcher; butchin' for money; I'll do what you want me to butch..."
