Makeover Competition

It's a Nationwide Colour & Styling competition for Goldwell one of the major colour companies

They decided we all had to use polaroids for our entries so that everyone would be on an equal footing & that no photshopping could be done to the pic to edit out any not so good bits
The Idea was also to use one of your regular Clients & Krishna was willing to let me do almost anything as long as it didn't involve cutting her hair off

But she has such great hair to work with It was a fun challenge

The Winner gets a Photoshoot in Vogue & national recognition which is always good for the Career

So here is my before & after

She shouldn't have shown so much teeth in the second picture. You shouldn't have done a profile either...it probably would've looked better straight forward.
Overall it doesn't look like you did much to her besides straighten her hair. :\
She's not bad looking though. I love the hair color.

The main Idea was to show off the haircolour more than anything else
as it is for a Colour company
Believe me a lot of work went into that colour
I took some from the front but the visual impact of the colour was better in the side shot



A full head of foils done in a shadow weave & splice pattern in 3 Complimentary colours
A pale creamy blonde
A strawberry Blonde &
A Burnished Copper
With Colour Balance demi in between to balance out the previous colour
her prior colour was a lighter blonde & caramel foils that had faded & grown out
The problem with a Polariod is it didn't show the truest colour it looks even better in real life you can see the individual colour tones in the foils

I also cut a lot off the layers & around the face with a lot of splicing between the layers as Krishes hair is so thick it can sit in a giant fluffy ball if your not careful
