I visited the ruins of Ephesus while on liberty in Marmaris, Turkey, during the Med cruise. This would have been late February / Early March.

I have about a hundred photos but they're all unsorted so here are four from the tour of the ruins.

How come this is for Karen?! I'm the history nerd here, dammit. Turkey is one of my dream destinations. Someone told me that they also have some of the best beaches anywhere, especially for the Med.

Mugteaux: I will be back in Turkey during my European tour when my contract with Uncle Sam expires...the plan is to start in the UK and head through France, Poland, etc. on down to Marmaris via Istanbul, and then go by boat back to Greece, then Italy to Malta then by boat to Spain, and then back to the UK.

I have to figure out a way to do this in one year via bicycle or rail...I'm sure it's do-able, I don't even know if it will take a whole year but y'know...
I have to do some real traveling salesman crap to figure out my route, it's all a pipe dream for now...
