Qcon this year was more spectacular than ever with new tournies (MsQuakeCon rawr!), a new event location (Adam's Mark Hotel/Convention Center), new free tshirts, and of course, more impressive, more bizaar, more kickass case mods which I thought I would share:

This was by far my fave: the casket pc, not surprisingly brought to you by the senior gaming league
I am trying to find a pic of it open, which is how I first saw it, but am having trouble. The end of the casket that usually is opened during funeral receptions holds a large flat screen monitor, and, as you can see from the pic, the guts are where the feet of the corpse usually are. The casket is actually a children's casket which is kind of morbid/amusing when you think about it because the pc was being carried and paraded around qcon all through the tournie like it was some kind of surreal midget comp nerd's funeral.

so the hazard sign is getting a little toooo trendy, but I loved this one. it had some kickass yellow strobe action which you can't see in this pic and made me feel like I was watching a batman movie.
