Foster Kids

Damn, we've been busy.
We are on the downhill slide to getting a license to do foster care.
6 more hours of classes, 2 more home inspections and 30 pounds of paperwork left and we are done.
Should be interesting.

Any foster kids out there?

yeah, and this procedure must be new...they even tried to auction me off on the tv a few times and I dont think the screening process was too good.

Kudos to you wonder, I hope to get into that too when we are a bit more secure.

Thanks, I will ask when I have them. I'm sure there will be many questions.
We have a great supervisor. Old biker and is as straight up as they come.
He's already told me how he will be lying, bullying and generally making my live miserable with all his impossible demands.
Big Al will certainly be a handful for him.

My deepest admiration and respect, wonderaz. You're offering shelter to some who will really need it. I'm sure you will be an excellent foster parent. Mega good karma/treasures in heaven for you.

A buffalo-sized guinea pig would have been the perfect pet for this.

If any of them started acting up, you could have threatened them with it.

Yo, they were talking about foster children, not pets for the drunk and bored.

They pay between 350 and 400 a month per kid and it is tax exempt, which it should be as it isn't like it's profit or anything.
It will seriously cut into studio time so it certainly isn't for the money.

Thanks but I must give credit to Big Al, this was her idea and she certainly isn't doing it for any recognition or praise.
The big reward for both of us is hopefully making a difference in a kid's life.
