Yay for that electric stuff

Just got electricy after the hurricane on tuesday 2:20, glad its back was actually hoping to go a whole week without it but im not complaining

hope the other VA people get thier power soon

I actually only lost my power one night from the hurricane, but lucky me lost it again last night during the storm that came through here...took untill morning to come back once again

There was some whining fucknut on the news comparing the time it took to get power back to new york-detroit - et al after the big black out and the time to restore power after the hurricane. I sincerely hope that he microwaves his nutsack as soon as the power comes back on.

You're kidding. Wow. Yes, they're totally comparable situations...relatively intact infrastructure versus massive destruction.

Perhaps after he said that, someone pointed out his error, and he feels a bit dumb. Perhaps he'll think before he speaks from now on. That's what I'm going to believe, anyway.

The part that got to me, was that as the asshat was being interviewed, there was a crew, hard at work, cutting tree limbs that lay across power lines right behind him, the camera then panned away and showed a power pole that was laying across the street. The difference was right in front of his fat face and yet he was still whiningI thought someone should have handed him a chainsaw and told him to hop to it. With any luck he would have severed a major artery in his leg.

Ours was out for almost a week...6 and a half days or so...but I'm a chicken, so I ran away to the mountains for a week to avoid the storm.
