I look at it as being like Smug deriding anyone for caring about Sept. 11 by making 18 smartass posts about it on the anniversary. (Okay, you don't care. Another fifty posts or so should prove that to everyone, don't ya think?)

After a while you realize that it's just a failure on their part to come up with something more interesting, so they just flog the "we're better than America blah blah blah" horse long after they've beaten the last morsel of horseshit out of it.

Europeans, well western Europeans, pressure their governments to implement environmentally friendly laws.

Cause there ain't too much environment left I guess.

Car emmission laws for example, if a petrol car emits too much CO, it's hasta la vista baby.

don't worry PT. Smug doesnt represent all of us. I dont think its funny either. i am still shocked by it. I have been to ground zero to pay my respects. i have heard some truly horrible stories regarding it. but its also part of the reason i would want to live in NYC. I think there is a spirit there, and i like it. theres no spirit here, no sense of unity whatsoever. the only thing we get remotely passionate about is soccer, and the Queen giving free concerts.
