So, a part of my job right now is to analyze lots of things.

I have to analyze stuff from disparate sources, many different data types, recorded irregularly...anyone with a background in stats (e.g. SimpleSimon) can tell you what a pain in the ass it is to analyze data which are not normally distributed...

Plus I have to deal with some complete assholes while doing it, who constantly tell me "You can't do that" because they couldn't figure out how to do it and now I make them look bad when I constantly succeed.

Just wanted to say...I no longer look down on those posters who don't feel like discussing philosophy at the end of the day.

Although I still have a copy of Grounding of the Metaphysics of Morals sitting next to my computer for when I take breaks

You need to take the governor off and blow out some a that soot, godammit. The damn thing'll sieze up at some point, and you'd a never taken it out for a real romp.
