I'm humping my cable modem!

hi hi hi hi hi hi hi,

I have returned, after several false starts with Mediacunt's attempts to provide me with quality online service. The actual hookup guys rule, but the folks who sign you up don't really tell you much of anything . . .

Anyway, I'm cruising through the program, still tormenting students, getting published, staying at home mostly reading, reorganizing my apartment, and watching my dog enjoy the benefits of glucosamine.

Life is dandy.

Nope, she has arthritis. She no longer gives me woeful looks in the morning when she awakens, and she's acting like she's 4 years old again (she's actually almost 9).

Hmmmm. I'll have to remember this for my dogs when they get old and decrepit. I did not know glucosamine would have this effect on arthritis.

I, too, have the mobility of a 4 year old thanks to glucosamine. My particular elixar in pill form also contains chondroitin. Bunkum, are you forcing pills down yer dawg's throat? If so, the best value I've found is 240 tablets (1500 mg) for $43.73 + tax. That's an astounding 18.22 cents per tablet. Drug Emporium. I dunno if they have any stores near you.

Mudflap, I found a supplement with glucosamine in it for $10.95 at a local pet supply place, which makes me very happy. It was on sale, down from the normal $17, for 180 tablets. They're flavor tabs, so she actually thinks I'm giving her a treat, not medicine! She's not horribly, horribly arthritic just yet, so having a smaller dose of it is working really well for her. But thanks for the info -- I'll check them out to see if it's just human drugs or dog drugs too!

I missed you guys as well -- I said in chat last night that sometimes I simulated the internet by typing to myself in WordPerfect.

Well, not really, but hey.

O.k., time to go eat more stuffing and get back to translations.

Yeah, I slept a good 5 hours, but had to get back up to do more work. Popped in and out of the asylum periodically. Then went to meet students, get some nice chardonnay (chest cold ), and make a few thousand phone calls.
