I know a few people who have started their period when they were 7-9, one of them being my mother who started when she was 8, so it is possible.

..and I know I'm going to catch some shit for this, but the 8 year old shouldn't be forced to have that child. I hope they abort it. There was a similar case in Africa where a 8 year old was impregnated by her rapist, and the parents wanted to abort the parasite because of the serious health risks to their daughter, but the country wouldn't allow it, and they ended up going through a lot of court drama and red tape before they finally had it done in another country. Sad. I'm usually not a person who supports vindicitive retribution, but I would make an exception in these cases. I'd only need a few hours alone with these pricks to make them regret their actions for the rest of their natural lives.
