Court papers say: "Employees of corporate defendants knew or should have known Ms Jackson and Mr Timberlake were including the act of Mr Timberlake ripping off part of Ms Jackson's costume to expose one of her breasts.

"All of the defendants knew that the Super Bowl would be watched by millions of children. Families have an expectation that they can trust companies and individuals not to expose families to sexually explicit conduct."

Damages could run in to millions if the suit is successful. Carlin says they should not exceed the gross revenues of the defendants over the past three years.

The lawsuit is imbecilic.

Surely, though, parents have a right to object to the airing of unannounced nudity during prime-time hours on network TV.

You and I may not have a problem with our kids seeing that, but reasonable people might, and we do have to share the airwaves with them.

sad but true. if only gore could have CARRIED HIS OWN FUCKING STATE in 2003. yeah, people like this give tennessee a bad name. when you go to the bigger cities like memphis, nashville, or knoxville, you find that these cities are actually really liberal and are not what i like to affectionately call 'bush country'. its when you go outside of the cities to the more rural areas that you find the kind of atmosphere that gives rise to a pseudo-president like bush. tennessee is the buckle of the bible belt, and we do have a large number of dry counties here, which is travesty like for example, in cleveland county, its home of two of the largest christian fundamental churches in the world. in teh same county ^_^ but i mean ill tell you, you dont get to be the #1 party school in america in a dry county. Go Vols! knox county is certainly a wet county, and is also a county i find bush will be hard pressed to win election day.

Images of breasts can truly hurt people. Consider that cable TV channels like Showtime and HBO have shown naked breasts for like twenty-odd years, but you have to pay to see them. Okay, I'll modify my position: free images of breasts can truly hurt people.

The commercial immediately before the half-time show was of a man getting his balls waxed. Now, while my stalwart accomplice Cage demonstrates the massive hurtful effects of even imagining having your scrotal hairs yanked out en masse, pause for a moment to consider the effect this horrendous mental image will have on the children who unwittingly witnessed this witless rude spectacle of a nitwit's nude testicle.
