things you have a "thing" for

sorry for the lack of creativity in he title but Im multitasking over here (WHAT A BEAUTIFUL FUCKING DAY!!!)

I have a bunch of things I have things for, I mostly wanted to post about my thing for names. I read nametags or names or hear them and it throws up a flurry of stuff inside of me brains...its kinda hard to explain. Just met a lady at the store and on her name it said "gertie" how fucking cool is that? Gertrude, man thats cool as shit. We discussed it for a while, I said it was a classic name you dont hear too much, she was suprised I liked it. She liked mine, I commented that drunk cajuns named me. I hear names and it sends up colors, some times feelings...even scents I can smell not really connected to anyone or anything I have known as far as I can tell, though I forget lots of things…though some are...like stacys and julies, there seems to be a theme with those names for me. But all names bring something up, like Christoph or Christopher, Shane...apparently Gertie, Maybe it is just a power those words have, power of words is a very old theme (from way before Dune you dorks ) I dont know, its cool stuff for me. Gertrude is cinnimon (smell), its the color too.
Anyone else have a name thing like this? Some words are like that too, but I get it mostly with names.

I like lots and lots of stuffs like the smell of pencil boxes, trees, bugs, frozen chocolate covered bananas....

perverted comment in 10 9 8 7 6 ....

you have any things for things?

Gertrude sounds like it should represent flaxen haired buxom aryan frauleins, and so Gertrude is yellow as a consequence of that.

I have a thing for Corey Feldman movies but the more I talk about it the gayer I sound to myself so I'll shut up now.

I have a thing for screwing women, but I haven't been using it much lately (at least not for the purpose for which it was designed).

Ooops I'm gonna get burned for that one I know it.

well that’s normal right? Does anyone not see shapes and colors and movements when listening to music?

I don't.
I am sort of jealous of people with synesthesia.
Although I also imagine it might be distracting. But then it wouldn't be if you were used to it.

Oh, and I don't see anything but what the lyrics describe, guess I'm not a free spirit (read: tart) like you are.

I can do that too sometimes, I thought it was just because I wanted too (which is probably the case)

I thought sounds having shapes were normal too, seeing color, shape and movement in music and stuff well.

When I listen to music I have mental orgasms.

Everyone does, right? I mean, how can you not?

Also, when I walk around outside people fall to the ground around me in some sort of mock-worship.

The sound of people hitting the pavement is pretty cool, though.
