I got a new job! Workin for tha Gubment!

I'll be working for the Va. Dept. of Higher Education...translation, I'll be working for the local community college teaching preschool and supervising the Teacher's Assistants and work study students at the college's Early Childhood Development Center. Lots more money plus state benefits! It's also a full-inclusion center, which means they have an inclusive special education program, so I'll actually get to put to use this education that I have been getting.

I'm still waiting for HR to call me and finalize everything (start date, starting salary, etc...) but the center director told me yesterday that they will be offering me the position.

So, I get to go back to work Monday, after being out for over two weeks with my gimp ankle, just in time to put in my two weeks notice! They're going to love me.

On a side note: WE GOT CABLE!! No more sharing a dial-up connection with RiZZ and Lucas! Hey...did you guys know that we have an images forum? And there are lots of pictures in there...AND I CAN SEE THEM ALL!!!!!
