Why do I have to keep ignoring some peoples signatures? Does the ignore go away whenever they change it? And can that be fixed? Because really, one of Lu's little scrolling eyesores was enough, I don't need to see it again because she's got a new one, I'm not reading that shit. When I click ignore sig, I mean that persons sig, not just that particular content.

I read it once, it may have changed, I don't care, reading scrolling text sucks, and seeing it down at bottom of the screen while I'm reading makes my eyes bleed.

i agree with mord. and it's long as hell. is that the way people are going to beat the sig limits now? because that would get old pretty fast if it were more than just one or two people.

I wasn't blaming you Lu, I'm bitching about the functionality of the ignore sig feature, yours just happened to be the one I hit ignore on again right before posting this. I thought the whole point of the ignore sig was so that you could have your scrolly scrolly shit, and I could not see it.

Lee is another example, he changes his all the time, and I don't give a fuck what her puts, there, I don't want to see it.

I've had Lu's on ignore for awhile (the scrolling is too distracting). If she changed it recently, it hasnt affected me. Animated avatars and sigs are fucking annoying. No, I'm not singleing out Lee, and yes, I know I can shut them off. Hitting stop after the page is fully loaded usually stops the avatars.

I dont know, I shut off every animated sig of any kind and I dont think those people's sigs have come back if they changed it. Then again, my short term memory is shit.

I'm not complaing about your sig Lu or the fact that thats the way you want it displayed. I just find it distracting. If its a great quote which has been stated, I'll un-ignore it and give it a read, then I'll ignore it again. I've ignored phorbies Gir and anything Dream puts in his sig. It would be cool if we could ignore indivdual avatars like we can sigs. I like avatars but the animated ones bother me, especially the obnoxious ones like Dream's. I dont post from work but as any admin can confirm I am logged in all day. I check the forum and read it whenever I have a few minutes to spare. Thats my problem, not the policy or the members and I'm not complaining. I completely agree with the "You're looking at the forum while you are at work? Eat a dick." argument.

Thats my completely unnecessary explanation of what I do while browsing.

Whatever. I like scrolling sigs. They reduce the mousewheeling I have to do without forcing everyone to think in soundbites.

I also like avatars.
I prefer animated ones.
Especially ones with tits that are being yanked around by the nipples.
I even like colored text, as long as its in a color that is readable on gray.

But then what the fuck do I know? I think Britney Spears is hot.
I'm so uncool.

But yeah, my "last read" cookies update randomly so if I read one thread, all the rest somtimes get marked as read and that's fucking annoying. I can sympathize.
