Anyone else that will be there, pm me with your numbers as well, if you don't mind...as RiZZ says, we will be arriving in the very late afternoon/early evening. We will be getting a hotel room somewhere in DC (right downtown somewhere) anyone who gets too drunk or needs a place to crash can borrow as much floor space as we have to offer.

we're going to be staying at the Super 8 on New York Ave. I think its about 2 miles from the whole mall/memorials/house corridor, and right near Union Station as well, so it's pretty central. We'll give phorbs a call on the cell phone when we get there, maybe we can meet up at the hotel or at a Metro station near wherever you guys are at the time.

We'll be in the area Saturday late afternoon/early evening sometime (best guess is somewhere between 5 and 7pm depending on how long it takes RiZZ to take his test)

I plan on just leaving the car parked at/near the hotel and either walking or taking the Metro anywhere we go. We have to check out of the hotel by noon Sunday, but we'll probably hang out up there until Sunday evening some time.

not that anyone cares..
..but I can't afford to drive up there and such, with me moving soon. I'm buying new furniture so I dont have to lug furniture(such as desks) upstairs when it's already put together.
wish I could go; but having money to move properly is my #1 priority atm.

no, i'm not mocking karen. i realize i live 4 inches and a metro ride away. but to make a long story capitalized: IM BROKE. i was at the bank today, depositing some checks (out of state, cause i work in the district), and the bitch wouldnt let me get any cash back because i was fourteen dollars overdrawn, and apparently giving someone who owes you money more money is bad practice. so now i've got four dollars, fifty-two cents, and 1/32 a tank of gas left in my car. i also have a checkbook, but that wont get me gas, cash, or beer down in dc. about two weeks ago i lost my debit card, so i cant hit an atm. im pretty much broke until my checks clear on tuesday.

so, yeah, sorry for being a cockhead. to be 100% truthful, i was a bit apprehensious about this whole thing anyway. to say my internet persona is slightly annoying would be a slight understatement, which is odd, i guess, because in real life i'm kind of neurotic about having most everyone like me. not that its always successful, but it is important to me, i guess. the past couple days ive actually been a bit nervous about meeting you guys, so who knows, maybe god gave me a cop-out in being poor. i promise ill make it up to you and visit you virginia kids down in your own element sometime (if you care). im touched that 4b said she wanted to meet me (even if she thinks i might not reciprocate) a few threads back, so i'll definitely make it a point to see her and splatastic sometime. rizz im not so sure about, i'm convinced he'll either hump my leg all night or stab me in the eye with a shard of glass. eh, either way itll be an experience.

oh well, here's to next time....
