Just in case you didn't forget
Maple Frost Cookies

1 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 cup butter
1 teaspoon maple flavored extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups confectioners' sugar
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon maple flavored extract
Directions
1 Combine flour and baking soda, set aside.
2 Mix together the brown sugar, 1 teaspoon maple extract, vanilla, 3/4 cup butter and egg. Stir in the flour mixture. The dough will be very sticky.
3 Drop onto greased cookie sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Let rest for one minute before removing from cookie sheet. Frost when cool.
4 To Make Frosting: Combine 2 cups confectioners' sugar, 2 tablespoons butter, 2 tablespoons milk, and 1 teaspoon maple extract. Spread over cooled cookies.
LOL! THAT was the first time I have laughed out loud for a looooooong time. Thanks Joeycat, you da fukkin MAN!!
Now, where da bitches at? I got me some maple* syrup....
*Maple: Syrup. It comes from trees. Maple trees. (See the connection?) Can be reproduced in a manufacturing plant, but you have to go to the U.S. to get it.
And as everybody knows, maple syrup and beer are some of the very best things about Canada. Beer being the best overall. It's not like that American beer which is like having sex in a canoe. (It's fuckin' near water...)While Maple syrup is good with pancakes and french toast, beer goes with anything. Like Hockey....
Last thing:
Blennidae; Don't worry about wondering what a maple frost cookie is, It's a Canadian thing. We undersand, AND forgive you. Now, go back to your..... ummmm...
Guns and ammo... Or whatever it is they do down there....
