Feudalism Returns with a vengence

Yes its true, President Mugabe of Zimbabwe has returned the country to feudalism. In his attempts to claim back farmland from the white settlers and redistribute it to indigenous population, he has reduced the power of the common man to nothing.

He has reclaimed for example 400 hectres of land and distrubuted in 10 hectre blocks to the blacl population. Now this may sound entirely fair to some, after all it is justifiable to say that the white man stole this land from them many years ago. However, the redistribution of this land has not been in capital terms. The new land oweners are in fact not owners. The are state small holders, they gain no capital from the land as they don;t own it, and essentially have been forced into serfdom under a banner of change and freedom. Inflation is hitting 60%, the country by next year will be in ruins.

And no its not a classic example of socialism going wrong, its a classic example of despotism.

Yes, Feudalism, in a literal sense. Lovely.

Then there's working a cube slave crap job, not quite getting the bills paid, and renting an overpriced apartment. Feudalism is alive and well, always has been, agriculture and tinpot dictators be damned.
