Post One of those things...

... that bugs me.

When listening to a good ol' vinyl album, I can't simply hit 'pause' on Winamp wilst I mosy off to the restroom.

Damn the injustice of it all.

*tries to stretch headphone cord all the way to the pisser*

haha i woulda spat some baccy but i don't like the stains it leaves on my teeth.. plus i'd rather smoke it than chew it.

Shad, those infa red ones cost a bit - so start putting some money away in your christmas club account or something for em or ask the parental units for them for the festive season..

I have some and i think they are okay, the cams are a bit wieghty and the fragile nature of the technology does not encourage wild dancing round the domicile.

My answer is very long headphone extention leads.

Or buy a DJ turn tables, they all should have stop and start buttons. But knowing you, i can't believe you don't have one already.

Ah, if only...
I'm old(ish), they're gone.
The current corded pair set me back a nice bill or so. They sound damn fine tho
On the list now after...
current bills
bigger HDD
boots
mixer + 2nd turntable
PS2
vacation
etc...

guess it's good I've got a small ap't
Ah well.

edit: Stopper, the start/stop button's busted, and I'm lazy. Could always just lift the tonearm, i guess.
I'd suspect they'd weight a ton too, the cordless mouse I've got will give me carpal tunnel before my time (15 minutes and counting). Ah, dare to dream...
Oh yeah, the cord's a good 6 meter stretchy job. Does the trick

Have you seen those new sennheisser speakers? Rough!
They produce sound electrostatically (rather than shifting air) and can be narrowed down to a beam of sound about an inch accross. Absolutley no use to you or your situation, but ruff all the same.
The infra red ones shouldnt be too heavy, I have auditionaed a pair, but if you are serious about your noise than leave em be until bluetooth smartens stuff upand you can get cordless stuff that sounds good.

LOL! 50hz, floating around the ether in the middle of the room, lost forever

The ultimate solution: Off the old bag upstairs that starts complaining at 9pm sharp!

Na, that can't happen. But just picture it...
Small room, chair, rope, Reservoir Dogs style (I need you to be cool. You cool?). Skipping disco record...
Hell, that disco record might drive me over the edge!*shudder*

Let's not get into high-end audiophile toys, my broke ass can't stand it. Uh, have you seen those totally flat glass panel speakers? (or were those the same ones you were talking about, Harsh?) Oh, drool, drool.

Anyway, I go sleepy-sleep now...
