I think Tibet should be freed and the Dalai Lama restored

Puff, you should make a journey to Bloomington, IN the next time the Dalai Lama visits there. They built a temple there for him, and there are several restaurants owned by his brother there, so obviously there is a very strong connection there to the Dalai Lama and the Tibetan cause.

I've thought for a long time that regardless of political or religious movitations on the Chinese part, that Tibet should be free from China, or at least the Dalai Lama restored as the religious figurehead for his people. China would gain more than it would lose by allowing people freedom of worship and of academic thought, anyway. The rigidity of power there is too intense, IMHO.

I mean he should be restored to his legitimate position in Tibetr and the Chinese should end there colonistaion of the region.
