I love the Asylum!

My God, I've posted 999 times.
My impression is that, at this point, I am supposed to make a "milestone post". I actually kind of like that tradition--it's a semi-organized way for each of us to assess our progress, and dis$%^EA!!!!!!@#@@@#@@

I love all of you, and I love this place.
There are many of you who mean a great deal to me, for a number of reasons. Still, I'd like to especially thank:
CHiPsJr, for inflicting me on all of you
Flocat, for not laughing (out loud, anyway) at me
Oxsan and SimpleSimon, for giving me a window into their worlds, which are so much richer and more seasoned than my own so far
Redguard, for inspiration
Kayla, for her kindness to me
cw, for the same and for some very funny dreams
Paint, wonderaz, MstrG, Dingle, and all the other admins and coders for keeping this place alive.

There are many others among you who have a place in my heart, and I will be happy to tell you exactly why if you ask, but the whole list would be way too long for this post.

Finally, this post is dedicated to everyone with whom I have had an argument here. It is from you that I learn most, and for that I thank you.

I honestly don't know very much about you, Caffeine. Thus, I'd say you're probably in the left ventricle, as it's the largest part.
Seriously...from what little I know of you, I can admire your spirit. Your pictures in IOD--both the photos and your digital artwork--speak to me of someone who has a strong streak of mischief, but rarely malicious intent. My guess is that you are actually a person with a good deal of compassion, and that is in my opinion one of the most valuable traits. I could be totally wrong--this is based on almost nothing--but it's my best guess. I hope that I someday know you well enough to know if I'm right or wrong.
