Starr

All I ask is that if you have a war to wage, leave it out of my thread.

Last week I received an e-mail from Starr's mother that was nothing short of a frantic mess. I could not make heads or tails of it. Being that I have met Starr on a few occassions and talked to her mom on the phone and through e-mail I did not take this e-mail to be a joke in any way; as much as her mom and her enjoyed the humorous things in life, this was not their type of joke. Anyway, all I got out of that e-mail was that something had happened and Starr had left her my contact info when she went to Texas in case anything happened to her, and a wish to keep her in my prayers. I replied to her and found out that she had been hit in an auto accident and was in a coma. There was still some of that frantic mess I mentioned earlier, and from what I could tell the situation was not good.

Besides Blaeloch's post, I do not know what has happend in the past few days. In all honesty, I am not surprised to find out that she did pass away considering the state her mother seemed to be in.

This is not a joke. Anyone who knows me personally knows that while I may love to pull a good prank on someone, they are harmless pranks. I am not pulling your string, and neither is Blaeloch, as far as I know.

I have to say that Michelle is one of the few people that truly got my sense of humor AND found it to be funny. She was really trying to get things straightened out in her life. Y'know, I'm glad the last time I saw her it was with smiles. You cannot say that about every situation. It's awful that her mother has now outlived two of her three children. I don't know what to say about that, I really don't. Michelle was a nice person. She really was. Not all the time, but a lot more than many people I have met in the world.

If she got to read this thread, knowing I started it, she would want me to end it one way:

Go Red Sox, YANKEES SUCK!!!

Wow...

Jon, if you talk to her mother again, or send another email, please offer my condolences to her family and friends. I only met her once, and didn't and still don't know much about her, but we had a good time when we met. She was cool to hang out with.

Regardless of what anyone thinks of her personally, it is always a shame for someone so young to die at the hands of someone who is acting irresponsibly (I believe Blaeloch said she was hit by a drunk driver?).

I went back and looked at those Blaeloch posts to try to figure out what you're talking about, and am sorry I did.

Maybe you should find out for sure, for your own sake, what happened to her. He doesn't strike me as being all that stable or reliable.

I never had anything against her, she always seemed nice enough. If she is dead, that sucks.

BTW, this is the relevant part of Blaeloch's post that is being refered to, so no one has to wade through all the rest of the garbage to get to it...

And I would think that many people in the situation that Blaeloch is in, having just lost a good friend that he seems to care a lot about, would act a bit irrationally, and get upset over bad things being said about that person. Try to cut him at least a little slack in that regard.

What the hell? He knew her for a whole two or three weeks at the most.

I don't know how long he knew her. I don't keep up with people like that. I was going by his words alone, and it seemed like he knew her pretty well.

Mr. Blaeloch has been with us since March of this year. I only saw he and Starr interact on any real level starting around 6-3-04 in the Texas Whores thread at which point they came to know that they lived in the same town or some such (which clearly suggests that they didn't know eachother beforehand). Going with the information available they knew eachother for all of roughly three weeks.

To say that he knew her well or could call her a good friend would be like me saying I know morgasm well because we talked on the phone a few times over a month.

Wow, our second fatality in almost as many months. I never paid much attention to starr, that damned big blue font made me sick. But I'm very saddened that she was killed and feel horrible for her family. Even if she was naive and silly, she helped make this place what it was and I'd be sorry to see her go in any capacity, but to have died.....

So now we know what happens when someone here dies: Not much, other than people act like assholes. But I don't want to degrade her death by chastising the idiots who think they are cool for continuing to be assholes after she died. There is already a thread for it.

Goodbye Starr. Rest in Peace.

PS: I'd much rather give condolences to a person who might be joking than fuck around when someone actually died.

Because it's impossible to:

1) Use your mother's email account
2) Create an email account and pretend to be someone you are not

I dont reckon she'll end up there somehow. I'll probably remember her most for the picture in the texas whore thread looking up into Mords(?) eyes.

She seemed like a fun gal. 23 is too young
