I get this error when I attach a second image to a thread: "Request entity too large (or some such)" when I submit. The page has a meta-refresh on it of like 1 second so I don't have time to copy the error. When the page refreshes it takes me to a 404 style page: "No thread specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the webmaster"

I hate myself.

Ahh, I see it's my bad. Dingle, this is not really the best error handling. But it's all good. It's also refreshing to some non-existent page and throwing up the 404 message.

There's more to it than that. If I attached an image that was too large it would take me to another forum page telling me the attachment was too large, not throw an error up and meta-refresh in 1 second to another broken page. That's why I called out your error handling.

It's like:

i'm having no problem attaching anything up to the limit, 153k, with mozilla or IE6. if anyone is having a problem you need to post something more specific than "it's not working". I think memdink's problem was he exceeded an apache configuration limiting how much data can be posted to the webserver, which appears to be 4 times over the VBulletin threshold anyway, giving him first the apache error and then the vbulletin error.
