yeah tis illegal. once the copyright belongs to anybody it cant be distributed without their permission. and if he did own the copyright (although he doesnt, im sure) he making these comments wouldnt do anything unless he chose not to press charges in the future.

try googling fahrenheit torrent. according to the slashdot comments it's missing about 20 minutes and the quality is absolute shite, so im gonna pass. if moore is really that interested in spreading the word rather than making money, he should 'leak' a decent copy of the film.
