Hypnotism can make a person do many things, but one thing it cannot make a person do is something that the person would not do while he was conscious. For instance, you could not merely make a person strip naked by hypnotism itself, but if you cold convince them first that bugs were crawling all over them, then you could.

I watched a performance once where an audience member was hypnotized and had a needle forced into his skin. It went in pretty deep too.

When he woke up, he didn't even notice it until the hypnotizer pointed it out to him.
Im pretty sure it wasn't rigged or anything though. It looked real enough.

I saw a hypnotist in England of all places, when I studied there.

I remember he did a little test of how suitable for hypnotism people were. He had the audience do something like clasp their hands and then he swung hist arm around or something and if your thumbs moved towards each other or something, then you were a suitable subject.

The most interesting thing I remember is a guy who he said would be completely rigid. He got a boner and stage, and then laid with his head on a chair, and just his heels on the other, and a girl stood on him and he remained stiff as a board.

well we had a hypnotist come to our after-party graduation

my pychology teacher taught me that its full of shit, and i believe him

the ppl that fall down are really hypnotised fall against him, he basically whispers in their ear to go along with it

it just makes you tell the truths about yourself, i don't think that you would do the things that you wouldn't do normally

so hypnotism is real just not the non-session type is fake, just some ppl that are willing to make fools of themselves without the hassle of explaining themselves
