a funny thing happened on the way to the 'transvestite midgets' forum

Seems there's a forum out there for just about everything, so I thought those of you who are bored might help me find the more obscure, amusing and unusual forums and message boards and post them here for later surfing fun.

If this has been done before, please link me to the thread. I searched for it but I don't think like other people and can never come up with whatever search terms are necessary to find threads people have already posted. *so there*

while searching for a jello wrestling or transvestite midgets forum, I came upon a Stargate SG-1 site. I really wanted the jello wrestling. Here's a discussion group for all of you in-process transsexuals . have a buttplug fetish? (that one's for dingle) or maybe just interested in the deviant's dictionary (not a forum, just something I found while surfing) . . . forget sex, grow pot or just learn how to blow shit up . more later.

if you can't teach your child to count on her fingers because she has too many , never fear, there's a board for you. I didn't find a forum for owners of three-legged dogs, just this newagey (rhymes with sewage -y) site. anyway, time to go walk my dogs. the one who was hospitalized is doing better, though still experiencing pain, numbness and mobility problems. I should probably go back to the Care Bears forum (no, I can't link to it again) and tell them my story of woe. I know they'll care.

no rubbernecks dying to find each other yet, but

I did find an interesting site on roadkill, a unique idea for a science project, complete with, you guessed it, a message board.

what to do in case of a post-apocalyptic zombie attack?

don't look to sabine for help. she hates zombies.

this one care of torque, who would have posted himself but he's used up his monthly allotment of posts from the post-nazis, or so he says, although I hear he hasn't been to his pathological liars' support group yet (I should find him a link so he can join a forum):

your home on the web for everything zombie!

for when torque decides to seek help for his pathological lying

I was looking for a support forum for men with anorexia and found an entire page of forums for people with eating disorders. Shine with the Rainbow looked promising, but they didn't want to get better, so they no longer exist.

From Ignatz' Borderline Personality Disorder page: Article excerpts from the Journal of Polymorphous Perversity.

"A Grammatical Overview of Medical Records: The Write Stuff

The following quotes were lifted verbatim from the medical records of a general hospital in a large metropolitan area.
- Patient experiences difficulty swallowing tires easily.
- History: Patient was shot in head with .32 caliber rifle. Chief Complaint: Headache.
- Patient has difficulty walking on Digitalis.
- Patient has been married twice, but denies any other serious illnesses.
- She moves her bowels roughly, three times a day.
- This GU patient states he urinates around the clock every two hours.

The Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI) Updated
Answer each item T(rue) or F(alse).
- I am easily awakened by the firing of cannons.
- I believe I am following others.
- I was not very strict with my parents.
- I am troubled by attacks of optimism.
- My sex life is satisfactory, except when I am with another person."

Oh well.

I like the pictures.

Isn't it risky to put up online that you are growing in your house??

Gen, check out some of the pictures. I haven't been there for a few years, but they have the best looking buds I've ever seen.

Yeah, I've seen some really nice plants in person. A buddy of mine grew his own outdoor last summer.

Beautiful.

A lot of them are from scandanavia, so it doesn't matter.

my parents live in florida. my sister (years ago) had a surfer boyfriend who was basically kicked out of the house for a while and lived with them. he grew his own pot, on my parents' patio. this being florida, the plants grew to be six feet high. my parents don't know pot from foot fungus and my dad was the horticulturalist. I went home for vacation from college and was out on the back patio watering the plants for my dad. here I am watering a six-foot pot plant thinking, hmmm, no way is my dad growing pot. no way is my sister growing pot. must be the surfer. no cop or court in the universe is going to believe my dad is so dumb that he waters several six-foot pot plants every few days and doesn't know what they are. I made surfer-boy move the pot plants.

Some of my days working in the south of Louisiana, I would end up driving through the wetlands on this little road that went from nowhere to nowhere and had nothing on it. At one of the spots where I was supposed to survey traffic (one pickup, if I recall correctly) I saw 4-5 pot plants growing up by the side of the road. I figured someone planted them there, and would harvest them later, and in the meantime they were on the highway right of way so they'd be in the clear. It surprised me, because I always thought pot plants were pretty needy and intensive to grow.

willimo, I think they're hardy, but need intensive care to facilitate nice, seed free buds. The shit on the side of the road may or may not bud at all and if it does, they might be so seedy and of such low quality that it's not even worth picking through them.

Most warm moist climates weed can grow on its own and very well at that, but you wont find anything worth smoking in the wild.

Most likey some kids where on a smoke run and threw some seeds out the window.

The only way to tell if they are worth anything is to see if they are female plants. If there are any male plants near them they will yield a seedy crap quality pot.

Edit: A side note... a lot of plants that grow out in the wild tend to be hermaphrodites.

The amount of pot experts here astounds me. Considering most seem to have no idea what they are talking about.
I suspect this is a case of "I read about it on the internet" rather than experience.
I'm trying to decide whether I should even bother to correct anybody.
