I'm sure the three of you in here who actually follow basketball already knew this, but I thought it was worth a mention.

Shaq finally got shipped to Miami today in return for Grant, Odom, Butler and next year's first round. As a Heat fan, I'm very sad to see Odom go, but this is a once in a franchise trade that couldn't have been passed up. Will it be a bust? Maybe, but i'd say probably not. The Lakers are fucked next year, even if Kobe stays on. The Heat's chances depend on Shaq coming to camp in shape, ready to extract vengance.

I predict the Heat will at least make it to the Eastern Conference Finals this year.

And yes, I know, this belongs in the cooking forum, but I couldn't find it.
