F1
I haven't followed it in the past too much, but I meant to last year and actually going to a race this year has helped out a lot. (Last weekend I watched the German grand prix at 7:30am here and then the final stage of the Tour de France after, both live, which was cool).
Anyways, it is normal to have this much of a shakeup between seasons? More than half the cars seem to be getting different drivers. Maybe it is a product of the Ferrari's dominance, I don't know. I wonder how some of these teams even stay at the F1 level, with the amount of money it takes. Minardi just lost their main sponsor after their sporting director died and they ran the car without decals. The sponsor seemed to disagree with the tribute. Anyhow, here is the 2005 grid so far:

Today's announcements confirming Mark Webber and Giancarlo Fisichella at Williams and Renault respectively for 2005 take next season's grid a step closer to completion.
Here the Press Association takes a look at the 2005 Formula One line-up.

Also, it seems a lot of people have come out against the idea of putting a GP on the streets of London. Jean Todt, Ferrari's director said "that trying to emulate Monaco in one of the world's most congested cities 'can not work.'"
