I've already been asked how I would feel if President Bush wins without winning the popular vote.
I've been asked what kind of position he would be in to shove laws through with such a narrow margin of victory.

I'm guessing bow-season on poor people will have to be limited to rural areas, while pistols and semi-automatics will be more limited to urban.

As for the seasons, why not institute poor people hunting for those times of extreme temperatures? If, during a blizzard, we killed people instead of having tons of sex, the world's population would decrease a little, perhaps bringing us back under sustainable growth levels. In the summer, everyone wants to kill people anyway, since it's so damned hot. By allowing people to satisfy one natural urge, we might better convince them to not steal, lie, cheat, or exhibit road rage.

Many problems can be solved with just this one act of legislation. I'm all for it!

You know, there are other states with similar laws.

Both West Virginia and Tennessee have passed laws stating that it is legal to eat road kill. Obviously, it's geared toward deer, but I can imagine someone going "Ooh! We just hit a possum! Go get the fryin' pan!"
