don't know if you've heard yet, but when passion of the christ comes out on dvd, it will contain NO extras (just the trailer for the movie), and will cost 29.44 average.

thirty bucks? for what?!

the average new dvd costs 20.00, usually less since places like wal-mart and best buy offer you a deal. why is passion of the christ so much more expensive when it offers much less than almost every other dvd on the market?

you know where i'm going with this.

i can't believe the studio and mel gibson are manipulating those with faith by setting such a high price point on this movie. they know that people will pay that much, hell, probably more. because this is the christian guilt trip of the century. it pisses me off that people who claim to have faith and want to "share their message" end up ripping off their brethren in the long run.

fuck you mel.

oh yeah, and they said that there is a chance that mel will offer a special edition in the future, with commentary and such. better start saving for it now, it's probably going to cost more than your car insurance.
